Zoning boards see member changes

July 29 special township trustees meeting
Sagamore Hills trustees accepted the resignation of Jay Wahl from the township zoning commission. He served for just over two years.
His replacement is Tim Black, who currently serves on the township board of zoning appeals. Trustee David DePasquale said Black originally wanted to serve on the zoning commission, but there were no open seats at the time. He will resign from the BZA with an unfinished term ending Dec. 31, 2028.
DePasquale and Trustee Paul Schweikert said the township keeps letters of interest from residents who want to serve on a township board. They will cycle through the letters to find someone to fill the BZA vacancy.
At the meeting, trustees also approved spending $66,261 for catch basin repairs throughout the township. The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District will reimburse the township for this expense.
