Ice Cream Social kicks off busy summer events schedule

The Ice Cream Social is a Hudson tradition that will return this year on Friday, June 13, from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on the Clock Tower and Gazebo greens. Tickets can be purchased at the Learned Owl, Hudson Visitor’s Center and Peace, Love and Little Donuts. Tickets will also be available at the Ice Cream Social.

The annual Hudson block party, organized by the Hudson League for Service, has fun for all ages. Enjoy hot dogs, ice cream and pie while listening to the musical performers and playing games, such as cornhole, soccer and Hudson mini golf. Guests can also check out the Fire Museum, safety house and fire and EMS vehicles and meet members from local organizations.

HLFS participates in community services all year. Fundraisers include the annual Ice Cream Social as part of Hudson Festival Days and Scholastic book fairs in the fall and spring. All funds are returned to the Hudson community by high school scholarships and community grants. HLFS’s 2025 scholarship winner is Jenny Liu. For more information, visit hudsonleagueforservice.org.
