Community Shred Day

The first of two annual Shred Your Documents Days returns on Saturday, May 21 from 9 a.m.-noon at the municipal parking lot on Brecksville Road near the fire station. The shredding trucks will be there to securely shred confidential documents that should not go in the trash. It’s a great way to recycle paper. Brecksville businesses are welcome to use the service as well. Once again, the city is asking everyone who attends to bring a voluntary contribution of canned goods for the Brecksville Pantry, which supplies food monthly to people who are having trouble making ends meet. The Pantry is always in need of unexpired canned tuna, soups, pasta and sauce, canned vegetables, juices and canned fruit and paper products. Gift cards to Heinen’s and Marc’s to buy fresh meat and frozen orange juice are also accepted. date on your donated food. ∞
