Run to the Sun 5K

The “Run to the Sun 5K” will be held Friday, June 17, at 7 p.m. The course will begin at the Bath Community Center by the Chief Logan statue and run through the Bath Nature Preserve. To register for the race, visit runsignup.com/Race/OH/Akron/RuntotheSun5k. Runners who register early will receive a brightly colored T-shirt. Registration is $25. All proceeds help fund capital improvements in the park not covered by the normal park operating budget. Past races have helped fund the two new restrooms in the Bath Nature Preserve. The Bath Parks Board is seeking sponsorships for the race and anyone interested in sponsoring may contact John Landis at Landisjohn@roadrunner.com. ∞
