Revere Players to present “Oliver!” April 28-May 2

Revere Players will present “Oliver!” April 28 through May 2.

Set in 1830s London, “Oliver!” follows the tale of Oliver Twist. Orphaned and desperate to escape his misfortunes, Oliver takes to the streets where he embraces the world of thievery. In a story of vivid characters and moments of melancholy and joy alike, Oliver confronts his mysterious past and uncovers the meaning behind true family. 

Laurie Russell is serving as director of the cast. Others leading the production include Rena Baker, assistant director, Robert Pierson, artistic director, Brian Rizzo, pit orchestra director, Bob Carlyon, vocal director and Darren Lebeau, technology director. The student director is Mary Flowers and the production assistant is Aaron Stalnaker. The stage managers are Abby and Olivia Kayani.

Performances will take place April 28, April 29, April 30 and May 1 at 7 p.m. A matinee performance will be held May 2 at 2 p.m. All performances take place in the Revere High School auditorium.

Tickets cost $10 and can be reserved by contacting lrussell@revereschools.org. Revere Players only accepts exact change or checks.
