Pollinator Powwow at Eastwood Preserve

Pollinators in our yards and in the wild will be discussed from two angles at a pollinator event to be held at the Eastwood Preserve on June 11.

Master beekeeper Robert Najjar will talk about honeybees and will have local honey for sale.

Ohio Certified Volunteeer Naturalist Ellen Daniels will talk about other pollinators like butterflies and flies. Geoff Rapp, a wildflower expert and naturalist, will identify Eastwood’s wildflowers and talk about their healing properties.  He will have lotions and other items made from wildflowers for sale.

Crafts, a scavenger hunt and other family-friendly games will go on during the free event, scheduled for 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, at Eastwood Preserve, 4712 W. Streetsboro Rd. ∞
