Adult Programs

Nordonia Hills game time: April 16, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Meet and join in with players of various games including chess, board and Euro games, role-playing games, mah-jongg, war games, and regular and trading card games. All ages welcome. Registration required.

Coffee and conversation, Thursday book discussion: April 14, 2 p.m. Meet to discuss fiction and nonfiction titles in a casual group setting. Copies of each title will be available at the Nordonia Hills Branch Library one month prior to the discussion. Book: Fuzz: When Nature breaks the Law by Mary Roach.

Writer’s Guild of Nordonia Hills: April 20, 6:30 p.m.  New writers and old hands welcome, fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between. Have your writing work critiqued and give feedback to others in a fun and friendly environment. Please bring a writing sample to share.

Children’s Programs

Messy Monday: April 18, May 16, 6:15 p.m. Join in some messy fun. Registration required.

April 18: Make a pulled string art painting with paint, paper, liquid watercolors, and string.

May 16: Paint a wooden drawer for keepsakes.

Paws for reading: March 28, April 12, 6:30 p.m. Read a book to a certified therapy dog, Edmund or Sweetie. Bring a book or read a library book. This is a great way for children to practice their literacy skills and gain more confidence in reading aloud. Children of all ages are welcome. Registration required.

School Age Programs

After school program: April 13, 4 p.m. Make a travel tic-tac-toe game out of a burlap bag and other various supplies. Registration required.

Take it make it, seed bomb: April 1-22. Make an Earth Day seed bomb to plant later on Earth Day.

Teen Programs

Dungeons and Dragons: April 11, May 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. Join the quest at your own peril. Bring dice and a drinking vessel or pay Miss Sue 10 pieces of gold. Snacks and drinks provided. For more information, contact Miss Sue. ∞
