Hudson Community Choruses

Celebrate the holidays with music from around the world at Hudson Community Choruses’ annual concert, Joy to the Earth, Songs and Carols from Around the Globe, on Sunday, Dec 8, at 4 p.m., Hudson Middle School Auditorium, 83 N. Oviatt St. New HCC Artistic Director Dr. Jon C. Peterson, Youth and Children’s Choruses Director Angela Perrine, and Anne Dalby, Collaborative Pianist will lead the chorus in a program of many languages, rhythmic and musical styles. “I am overjoyed to be conducting my first concert with HCC and to share this special music with our audience. Through these beloved carols, hymns, and unique pieces we hope to capture the season’s spirit of peace, joy, and unity,” Peterson said. The choruses will sing individually and together including joining their voices for the Night of Silence, a reflective piece blending the melody of Silent Night, with a counterpoint creating a heartfelt moment of unity and peace that has become an HCC audience favorite over the past few years.
