Hruby to give state-of-the-city address February 22, 2023

Brecksville Mayor Jerry Hruby will review the city’s 2022 highlights and bring residents up to date on what is on tap for 2023 when he delivers his annual state-of-the-city presentation at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22 at the Brecksville Human Services Center.   

Doors open at 6 p.m., with a presentation of the annual Citizen of the Year Award taking place at to start the program. A question-and-answer session will take place following Hruby’s address.

Residents are also invited to a “Conversation with the Mayor” at the Human Services Center on  

Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. This event is an opportunity for residents, especially older and physically challenged residents, to learn about current and future city issues, as well as upcoming projects. It’s also a chance to get on-the-spot answers to resident concerns. 

Refreshments will be provided.

The Department of Human Services will provide transportation to the Feb. 21 event for older and physically challenged residents. Residents are asked to call 440-526-2499 one week in advance to schedule the service.
