Gun Safety

Jun21

6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Revere Community C.A.R.E., in partnership with Summit Armory, is sponsoring “ASK (Asking Saves Kids) - A Gun Safety Program” on Tuesday, June 21, 6:30 - 8 p.m., at the Richfield Branch Library. Guns are the second leading cause of death among children and teens, according to the New England Journal of Medicine. Car crashes is the leading cause. One in three American homes with children have guns; many unlocked or loaded. Presented by Meredith Stein, information will be shared about gun safety and why it is important for parents to find out if there are unlocked guns in a home where a child might visit. Tips will be shared on how to ask the question as well as ways to start this private conversation. Join Revere Community C.A.R.E. on June 21 for this free presentation. No advance registration is required. For additional details, call 330-659-4750. ∞
