Entry period open for Summit Metro Parks photo exhibit

Park visitors who enjoy snapping photos in the Summit Metro Parks will again have the opportunity for their work to be displayed in public. Through Nov.18, visitors may submit entries for the 23rd Amateur Photography Exhibit, which will be displayed both in the Nature Realm and virtually. A limit of two printed photographs will be accepted per entrant, and all images must be taken in areas managed by Summit Metro Parks. With each entry, entrants must include their name, address, phone number, email, the location where the image was taken and a title for the image. Entries should not be matted, framed or include watermarks, and should be one of the following sizes in inches: 5-by-7, 8-by-10 or 11-by-14, and printed on photo paper. Please note that photographs will not be returned.

Visitors may drop off submissions at F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm (1828 Smith Rd., Akron, or mail them to 975 Treaty Line Rd., Akron, OH 44313, Attn: Amateur Photography Exhibit. A completed entry form must be included with the submission, which may be downloaded from the event description at the park district’s “Programs and Events” webpage.
