Corn roast

The Brecksville Historical Association’s Annual Corn Roast will be held on Sunday, Aug. 14, from 1-5 p.m. on the grounds of the Squire Rich Museum, located in the Brecksville Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks at Oakes Road and Route 21. Mouth-watering corn, roasted in the husks, will be the main feature of the menu and hotdogs and beverages will also be served. The museum will be open for tours. Foster Brown will be offering his folk tunes and this is a good opportunity to view this year’s display “Old Time Music and Musicians.” Profits from this event go towards BHA’s Squire Rich Scholarship Award and maintenance of the museum, its archives and artifacts. ∞
