Chippewa Garden Club

June will be a very busy month for Chippewa Garden Club members. On June 17, the senior Enrichment through Nature program will take place in the Broadview Heights Community Center, 9543 Broadview Rd. This month’s project is titled “Firecrackers and Posies.” Preregistration is required by calling 440-526-4074. From June 24-26, the CGC will have a booth at the Brecksville Home Days. There will be a kid’s project on Saturday and handouts also will be available for adults. On June 28, at 6:30 p.m. in Activity Room A at the Brecksville Human Services building, Paul Burik will present a program on the “Cleveland Cultural Gardens-Paths to Mutual Understanding.” The Cleveland Cultural Gardens has 33 dedicated gardens along Martin Luther King Boulevard that are designed and maintained by cultural and nationality groups. ∞
