Cars at the Cabin

The Brooklyn Exchange Club will host Cars at the Cabin on Sunday, Aug. 7, showcasing several automobiles and motorcycles from both the past and present while benefiting two local charities. The event will take place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., at the Brooklyn Exchange Cabin, 2400 State Rd. In addition to vehicles, concessions from Hoppy Dude Brews, ice cream trucks and other vendors will be available, as well as door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and more. This year’s door prizes will include battery jump boxes, a battery tender, retractable extension cords, a vent clean-and-check and more. Proceeds from the show will be donated to the Brooklyn Exchange Club, which is part of the National Exchange Club, whose primary objective is to prevent child abuse. Visitors also are asked to bring a pet-related item, such as pet food, blankets and toys, to “stuff the truck” with supplies for area no-kill animal shelters.
