Candidates night set for Sept. 28

The Hinckley Women’s Club will sponsor Candidates Night on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church. Speaking will be the two candidates running for a single trustee position: incumbent Melissa Augustine, and Hinckley resident Cyntia Engleman. Township Fiscal Officer Martha Catherwood, the incumbent who is running unopposed, will also be in attendance.

The Hinckley Womens Club also will host its annual Welcome Back meeting on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Brooklyn Exchange Club on State Road in the Hinckley Reservation.

The Hinckley Women’s Club is also selling football squares for the Ohio State vs. Michigan football game at a cost of $10 each. Go to the Hinckley Women Club website for details.
