Brecksville Celebrates Earth Day

The Brecksville Horticulture Department invites the public to celebrate Earth Day in Brecksville by attending “Invest in Our Planet,” on Sunday, April 23, from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the city’s horticulture building, 6916 Stadium Dr.

See how our horticulture team makes Brecksville beautiful year round, check out their equipment and discover something new. Community groups also will be in attendance to collect used bicycles for restoring, clothing, household goods, prescription glasses, single use plastic shopping bags and even worn-out American flags that will be disposed of properly.

There also will be tours of the Community Recycling Facility behind the fire department at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. ∞
