Bath Gamma Garden Club annual seminar

The Bath Gamma Garden Club will host its annual free community seminar, raffle and auction on Wednesday, June 1. The event is free and open to all. It will be held at Hale Farm & Village, 2686 Oak Hill Rd., in the Mary Jane Hartwell Community Room. The seminar begins at 7 p.m. and the raffle and silent auction open at 6:30 p.m. Raffle and auction items include gift certificates and vouchers from area businesses, handcrafted items from BGGC members, themed baskets and a handmade cedar Adirondack chair. Also included in the auction are hand painted furniture pieces and framed photography. All proceeds support the garden club’s community service projects and plantings. The seminar speaker is Joe Mazur, president and CEO of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, who will give highlights of railroad updates and provide insights on flora and fauna in the CVSR surrounding areas.
