Archeology of Battle of Lake Erie

Join the Richfield Historical Society on Wednesday, June 29, 7 p.m. for a TakeMeBack Series presentation by Carrie Sowden, archaeological director for the National Museum of the Great Lakes, on “The Archaeology of the Battle of Lake Erie and the War of 1812.” She will talk about the history of the Battle of Lake Erie and the work being done to identify the battlefield. The presentation will also touch on other War of 1812 naval archaeological sites around the Great Lakes. This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
