Revere Superintendent’s Corner

The new year always brings energy and excitement. The Revere Board of Education convened for its annual organizational meeting on Jan. 13. The elected president, Keith Malick, and vice president, Courtney Stein, were formally sworn into their roles. Additionally, the board set the time, place and dates for regular 2025 meetings, which can be found on the district’s website: revereschools.org/administration/board-of-education/meeting-datestimes.

We asked our five school board members to share what they value about being a Revere board member.

Keith Malick, member since 2018

It has been an incredible honor and great privilege to serve on the Revere School Board the past seven years. Our students are the core of our district, and having the chance to ensure that they have the resources, exceptional teachers, staff, and administration to support their development and prepare them for future opportunities and success has been gratifying. I am profoundly thankful for this opportunity.

Courtney Stein, member since 2023

I deeply appreciate the work we do together as a board and the strong collaboration we have with our staff and administrators. Our ability to function effectively as a team is something I value. Having seen the positive impact of a high-quality education on my own children, I am committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to benefit from the same exceptional experience.

Kasha Brackett, member since 2024

I value the opportunity to serve the Revere district by giving students, staff, parents, and community members a voice based on my experience as a stakeholder in each of those categories.

Hayden Hajdu, member since 2020

Being a Revere School Board member provides me with a platform to advocate for our community and students of our district. From the high academic standards to the strong tradition of our extracurricular activities, each student’s involvement is a vital component of the overall school experience. As an alumnus of our school and a resident of Revere, I am deeply committed to serving the community that I hold in high regard.

Natalie Rainey, member since 2024

I value the honor and privilege of serving the Revere community at the district level. I have immense gratitude for our families, teachers, staff, and the community as a whole, and I am deeply appreciative of the trust they place in us. That responsibility is something I carry with the utmost seriousness and respect. The partnership between our district, parents, and community is invaluable, and it is a privilege to work alongside them to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive. These reflections highlight each board member’s passion for education and the Revere community. Working alongside a school board that is collaborative and unwavering in its commitment to our students’ success is both inspiring and humbling. Together, we are building a strong foundation for our Minutemen!
