Submitted by Hudson Community First

Hudson Community First will host its signature fundraiser, Toast to Hudson, on Friday, Feb. 21, at Lake Forest Country Club. Guests will enjoy food, drink and live music featuring The Canterbury Trio, while bidding on more than 100 items in the silent suction, including luxury travel experiences, premium sports tickets, whiskey and bourbon baskets, Playhouse Square tickets, gift certificates to local venues, summer camps, principal for a day and much more.

Also available for purchase will be keys to possibly unlock a stunning piece of jewelry donated by Jewelry Art, and corks that can be redeemed for a premium bottle of wine.

Event tickets are available at Toast2025.givesmart.com.

Hudson Community First works with all schools in Hudson to educate over 5,000 youth on how to incorporate 40 developmental assets into their lives to help them make good choices and become responsible and kind adolescents and adults.

Proceeds from last year’s event funded Community of Care programming to help address the mental well-being of young people. Fall speakers featured parenting expert and author Michelle Icard and clinical psychologist and co-founder of Barlow & Adams Behavior Health, Megan Barlow. Spring will bring motivational health speaker and founder of Your Life Speaks, Nathan Harmon, and New York Times bestselling author and internationally renowned speaker, Dr. Lisa Damour.

The proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will allow Hudson Community First to continue to support mental health initiatives, as well as provide help for kids engaging in risky behavior leading to addiction, internet victimization and self-harm. Visit hudsoncommunityfirst.com for more information.
