Free speech is needed

To the Editor:

Hats off to your editorial board for providing a forum in which individuals can freely express their heartfelt opinions without being subjected to unwarranted censorship.  At a time when free speech is being viciously attacked, it is both refreshing and encouraging to know there is still a forum where ideas can be freely expressed and exchanged.  Thank you for championing this right.
