Humane Society ‘Pawsibility Ball’ returns Aug. 24
The Humane Society of Summit County hosts Pawsibility Ball Aug. 24
The Humane Society of Summit County will hold its signature event, the Pawsibility Ball, on Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn. This event celebrates animal rescue and raises funds for over 2,500 animals saved, rehabilitated and adopted through the HSSC each year.
HSSC is proud to honor this year’s “Animal Heroes” Judy Steiner and John Krajewski, for their years of support and service to the HSSC, its mission and their overall dedication to animal rescue and adoption in Summit County.
Guests of the Pawsibility Ball will enjoy a cocktail hour, gourmet dinner, silent auction, music from acoustical guitarist Rick Iacoboni, a tribute to the 2024 Animal Heroes and a showcase of adoptable dogs, cats and critters.
Guests can also purchase tickets to win a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. Tickets are $25 each or five for $100, and the winning ticket will be drawn at the Pawsibility Ball. Both event guests and the public will be able to participate in the silent auction via their computer, tablet or mobile phone.
More information, including tickets, is available at summithumane.org/pball. ∞
