Turkey Tot Trot struts into Case-Barlow Farm

Join the fun at Case-Barlow Farm as runners ages 2-11 have the chance to compete for some bragging rights – as well as a 20-pound turkey.

Now in its 6th year, Case-Barlow Farm’s Turkey Tot Trot is set for Saturday, Nov. 18 at the farm, 1931 Barlow Rd. Runners should arrive promptly at 1 p.m. in order to register and be ready for the event, which starts at 1:30 p.m.

Age groups include runners under 3 years old, 4-5 years old, 6-7 years old, 8-9 years old, and 10-11 years old, with all runners dashing around the farm in a spirited competition. The younger runners will complete a .05-kilometer course, and those ages 8-9 will run once around the farm’s Big Red Barn to the finish line, while the 10-11 years-olds will run around the barn twice.

An awards ceremony will be held after the last race, and the five winners will gather to take a photo and receive their 20-pound frozen turkey prize, courtesy of Acme Fresh Market of Hudson.

Attendees can enjoy a hot chocolate in the wagon shed following the event. The Turkey Tot Trot is a free event, sponsored by the Campanella family. Donations to support the farm’s mission are encouraged and always welcome.

New this year, Case-Barlow Farm will be a donation site for the Toys for Tots program. Please bring an unwrapped donation to providing toys, books and gifts to less fortunate children.
