Bath Township residents will see a tax levy for the township parks system on the Nov. 7 ballot.

The levy replaces the existing .75-mill levy and adds an increase of .35 mills for a total of 1.1 mills for each $1 of taxable value. This equates to $39 for each $100,000 of appraised value per the Summit County Fiscal Office. The levy would collect $688,000 annually and be in place for five years starting in 2024 with collections in 2025.

One seat is open on the Bath Township Board of Trustees and incumbent Elaina Goodrich is running for re-election against Richard Bradner. Trustees serve four-year terms and have an annual salary of $24,729.

Five candidates are running to fill three seats on the Revere Local Schools Board of Education. Claudia Mendat Hower, Diana Sabitsch and Courtney Stein are running for re-election against newcomers Kasha Brackett and Natalie Rainey. Board members serve four-year terms and are paid $125 per meeting with a maximum of 24 meetings per year. ∞
