Sept. 1—Police found a stolen vehicle in a West Creek Road hotel parking lot following a notification from the Flock Safety cameras. There were two people ordered out of the car. One admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle, and the other was arrested for receiving stolen property.
Sept. 8—Four people were arrested for prostitution and possession of criminal tools at a Quarry Lane hotel.
Sept. 9—A female was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated at a Rockside Road hotel. She originally called after she reported that a male asked her what her prices were.
Sept. 18—During a traffic stop, police found the driver to have a warrant with Independence. Drug paraphernalia was present in the vehicle. He was charged with possession of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and speeding.
Sept. 28—Police stopped a vehicle on Pleasant Valley Road because the driver had felony warrants. When he was stopped, a firearm was found in the vehicle. He was cited for prohibited window tint on the vehicle and charged with carrying a concealed weapon when he is not a qualified adult under Ohio law.
Sept. 28—A female at a Rockside Woods Boulevard entertainment facility reported that her boyfriend stole her phone and keys. The male was charged with obstructing justice when he resisted arrest. He was given a personal bond and released from Independence jail without incident.
