Highland Foundation to host “Honor Gala”
Among its most popular events of the year, the Highland Foundation has scheduled its 19th Annual Great Gifts Dinner Auction for Saturday, Nov. 11, from 6-11 p.m., at Weymouth Country Club.
Foundation Director Theresa Wright said since the dinner falls on Veterans’ Day, it seemed fitting to make the theme of the dinner, Honor Gala, in tribute to the armed forces.

In conjunction with the Great Gifts Dinner, the foundation’s October Night Out has been scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 12, from 6-8 p.m., at The Galaxy restaurant in Wadsworth. This casual evening provides drink tickets and light appetizers for a $25 donation or donation of an item of equal value.
Gift cards, baskets and other such donations are welcome and will be used for the Great Gifts dinner auction in November.
Specialty Honor Gala-themed drinks will be available for purchase as well as raffle opportunities for a Highland-themed yeti package valued at $400. The winning ticket will be drawn on Oct. 12 and another ticket for a Geneva-on-the-Lake getaway will be drawn Nov. 11. ∞
