July 30—A female was arrested for prostitution and possessing criminal tools at a Jefferson Drive hotel.

July 31—During a traffic stop on Quarry Lane, three people in the vehicle were found to have warrants. The driver and one passenger were cited for open container in the vehicle.

Aug. 2—A female was arrested for prostitution at a Quarry Lane hotel.

Aug. 3—A male was arrested for theft when he was unable to pay for the rental he made at a Rockside Road hotel. He was also charged with falsification after providing a false social security number and date of birth.

Aug. 4—During a traffic stop on Patriots Way, a probable cause search of the vehicle found an open bottle of vodka and a total of 280 grams of THC gummies. The driver was charged with open container and drug offense.

Aug. 8—A female was arrested for prostitution and possessing criminal tools at a Jefferson Drive hotel.

Aug. 9—At a Rockside Woods Boulevard hotel, police arrested a male for aggravated menacing after a female reported that he had threatened her with a gun during an argument.

Aug. 10—A physical fight took place between two female friends at a Quarry Lane hotel. One female was arrested for assault.

Aug. 11—A female was arrested for prostitution and possession of criminal tools at a Quarry Lane hotel. The arrest was part of an operation targeting sex sellers in the city.

Aug. 11—Police arrested a female for prostitution and possession of criminal tools at a Rockside Road hotel.

Aug. 12—Officers conducted a traffic stop on Rockside Road when a stationary vehicle was impeding traffic. The driver was cited for open container and no operating license.

Aug. 14—Police were notified of a suspect vehicle through the license plate reader cameras. The driver was found to have several felony warrants for dangerous drugs, and Independence issued a warrant for theft from a Brecksville Road store. He was booked into Independence jail for theft.

Aug. 17—A male was charged with violating a protection order after being in the same Quarry Lane hotel room as the female he was supposed to leave alone. Officers responded to a domestic violence incident between the two on Aug. 13.
