Elect candidates that support voter rights

To the Editor:

Issue 1 was defeated in a landslide in Brecksville and Broadview Heights. Please do your research to learn which candidates for city council, mayor and school board supported Issue 1, which tells you that they do not value your opinion, your voice and, most definitely not, democracy as a whole.

Do we want these people holding positions wherein important decisions are being made? Ask candidates directly. 

I’m voting for Jack Petsche for mayor. Jack will retain the small-town feel of Brecksville while working to progress our city into a thriving community. 

We have so many opportunities, and I believe with Jack’s leadership all citizens will have a voice.
