Cub Scout garage sale slated for Sept. 9

The annual  Cub Scout Community Garage Sale will take place on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. In previous years, the event featured more than 100 homes throughout the community. Only homes in Hinckley can register for a garage sale space.

A map identifying homes participating, along with a brief description, will be sold for $4 in the parking lot behind the township hall, 1410 Ridge Rd., beginning at 8 a.m. the day of the event only. The township is not associated with the sale or distribution of maps. All garage sale proceeds belong to the individual holding the sale. The cost to advertise includes advertising in all great Cleveland and Akron newspapers and online.

Those who wish to host a garage sale and participate in the event are asked to visit hinckleycubscouts.com to register. Online registration is $15 and mail in registration is $20. For any questions, email pack3520@gmail.com. ∞
