May 26—Officers responded to a Brecksville Road business for report of theft.

May 28—Police noticed a male and female sitting in a parked car at a Rockside Road hotel. The female had a warrant for shop lifting with the Brooklyn police, and the male was charged with drug trafficking.

June 2—During a traffic violation, a female driver was cited for driving under suspension and marijuana was seized from the glove box.

June 4—A driver on Quarry Lane had a warrant for assault with Parma police and was arrested for violating a protection order by driving with the protected party. Two other passengers had warrants, one for parole violation and the other for drug offense.

June 8—Police were made aware of a stolen vehicle driving on Rockside Road. The driver was found to have an active warrant for carrying concealed weapons with the county sheriff’s office. He was taken to Cuyahoga County Jail.

June 10—At a traffic stop on Quarry Lane, a driver was cited for drug paraphernalia.

June 13—Officers were notified of a stolen vehicle driving on Rockside Wood Boulevard. The driver stopped when pulled over, then sped away. She was later caught at a hotel lobby and was charged with receiving stolen property, failure to comply, falsification and no operator’s license.

An Independence officer located a stolen vehicle on Sunset Avenue. It was stolen out of Brooklyn Heights, and one of their officers took possession of the car.

June 14—Two stolen cars were recovered in the parking lot of a Quarry Lane hotel. Both had broken windows, and one car had visible bullet holes.

June 18—At a traffic stop on West Creek Road, the driver was found to have traffic and criminal warrants, including a warrant for misdemeanor assault. That warrant prohibits him from legally carrying a concealed weapon, which he had in the car. He was cited for driving under suspension and indicted for the firearm.
