New activities and talent show planned for Community Day

Bath-Richfield Kiwanis continues to plan for Richfield Community Day, which will be held on Sunday, August 13. Several new activities have been added to the roster, combined with the annual raffle and interesting booths of local non-profit organizations.

Residents of the Revere community are invited to participate and demonstrate their singing, dancing, instrumental and comedy talents. To do so, complete the application found on the Kiwanis website, bathrichfieldkiwanis.com, and mail it to BRKiwanis, P.O. Box 211, Richfield OH 44286. The deadline for applications is July 10.

Three local people experienced in the arts will judge the contest.

Also new this year, Kiwanis will raffle off an adult, Bintellie Florence step-through electric bike. Only 200, $20 tickets will be sold. The bike can be used on the Towpath Trail and most Summit County Metro Park trails.

Kiwanis is now accepting applications for nonprofit organizations to have a table under the big tent. Each organization must provide an activity for children, adults, or both at their table. Complete and return the application found at bathrichfieldkiwanis.org/community-day-table-request-for-nonprofits/.

A committee will review and approve the applications.
