Jennifer Anand is celebrating the ten-year anniversary of her successful bone marrow transplant to treat stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma with a fundraising campaign for the Cleveland-based Steven G. Cancer Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to building support and community for adolescent and young adults facing cancer. Anand serves on the foundation’s board of directors and on the patient advisory committee. She is also a regular contributor to the foundation’s magazine “Elephants and Tea,” a journal written for and by the AYA cancer community.
As a young adult, she was given a 50% chance that the transplant would work. Anand is grateful every day for the support she has received from her family, friends and the community and is determined to continue to advocate for young adult cancer survivors. You can donate to her campaign at stevengcancerfoundation.org.
Anand is the daughter of Ammu and Vijay. She grew up in Bath, graduated from the University of Akron and currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts, where she works as an engineering trainer.

In a press release, Kish stated, “Taking part in the Woman of Impact program was personal for me because I have a family history of heart disease.
