Superintendent’s Corner

“RSF, RSF, RSF.”  Can you hear me chanting the initials of the Revere Schools Foundation?

Casino night at the Revere Schools Foundation fundraiser, Illuminate 2022, was popular with the attendees. The event raised $110,000 to benefit Revere Schools and help fund two additional police officers for security of the school buildings. Photo submitted.

I would like to publicly thank our Revere communities for their amazing support of the Revere Schools Foundation fundraiser, Illuminate, which took place on Nov. 5, at Portage Country Club.  Thank you to everyone who contributed through attendance, participation in the live auction, and both in-kind and monetary donations.

Illuminate was an incredible success. Tickets for this fabulous event sold out, a good problem to have to resolve.  Over $110,000 in funds were raised to support our students and schools.

The foundation’s mission is to promote experiential learning, produce leaders, and protect our students. Thanks to the partnership with the RSF, the school district was able to add two additional police officers (6 hours daily; 60 hours weekly) who protect our schools, students and employees. Additionally, funds raised at Illuminate will support scholarships for graduating high school seniors, the Alumni Hall of Fame program, social emotional support for students, improved school safety, as well as increasing the awareness of our, “See Something, Say Something” campaign.

Thank you, Revere Schools Foundation!
