16 RHS students qualify as National Merit Scholars – Top 1% nationally

It is always a proud and joyful moment when we celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of our amazing students. Today, we are beyond pleased to share that 16 Revere High School seniors qualified as 2023 National Merit Scholars. That is an astonishing 7% of the class.

Students Adelyn Brookover, Taylor Creveling, Devin Donich, Tate Johnson, Wesley Leong, Philip Liu, Calin Milicia, Sara Tomechko, Lauren Weil and Annabelle Yost are semifinalists in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program. These 10 semifinalists will continue competing for one of the 2,500 National Merit $2,500 Scholarships awarded in the spring of 2023.

Additionally, six RHS students have been awarded Commended Scholar status for their exceptional academic promise as demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry. Our commended scholars include: Abigail Disalvo, Luke Furukawa, Lillian Kayani, Allison Meixner, Rishi Velma and Bora Zook.
