To the Editor:
I would like to share the following statement made by Nordonia Hills Board of Education member Matthew Kearney on social media after the election results.
“I want to thank the Nordonia Hills community for voicing their opinions during this election regarding Issue 5. One thing that I learned during this last election is that we are all very passionate about our children and the future of the district’s facilities. As I have stated previously, and as the community has now also agreed, this is not the time to build all new facilities. As a board member, I will continue to advocate for conservative, common sense approaches in improving the quality of our facilities. I sincerely ask this community to remain passionate and unified in helping the board develop creative approaches and ideas when it comes to our facilities and their future so that they may continue serving generations to come.”
Thank you, Mr. Kearney!
