Aug. 28—A male was reported stealing items from a business on Brecksville Road.

Sept. 3—Officers were notified of a stolen car driving through the city by Flock safety cameras. The vehicle was pulled over, but then the driver continued driving, leading to a pursuit. Once officers stopped him, they found suspected drug paraphernalia and gold jewelry in the vehicle. The suspect was charged with receiving stolen property, drug abuse and resisting arrest.

Sept. 4—During an attempted traffic stop on I-77N at the I-480W ramp, the driver of the vehicle in question did not stop. After finally pulling over, the driver was found not to have a valid driver’s license.

Sept. 7—Police responded to report of theft at a Brecksville Road business.

Sept. 10—Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident on the I-77N ramp to I-480W. The driver involved in the accident had several warrants, and his boss drove to pick him up from the scene of the accident, thus obstructing official business.

Sept. 17—At a hotel on Quarry Lane, a male threatened to destroy the hotel and hurt employees if he did not get a refund for the room reservation he and his girlfriend made online. The male and his girlfriend were both under 21.

Sept. 21—Officers responded to a Patriots Way hotel for report of a disturbance and unwanted female guest. The female was later arrested for disorderly conduct and her cousin, who drove to pick her up, was cited for driving under suspension.

Sept. 23—Police detained a male for urinating in public at a Rockside Road gas station and also cited him for having weapons while intoxicated.

Sept. 24—Officers were dispatched to a Rockside Place restaurant when an intoxicated man caused a disturbance and refused to pay his bill.
