Chippewa Garden Club presents ‘Greetings with Greens’

The Chippewa Garden Club will present its annual holiday fundraiser, “Greetings with Greens,” on Tuesday, Nov. 15.

The show will feature the design team from Countryside Florists in Richfield. Owner Sandy Apidone and her team are preparing an uplifting presentation of new holiday ideas to bedeck our homes and to add sparkle to the upcoming 2022 holiday season.

The program will also include a holiday bazaar raffle. The raffle will showcase creative and novel gifts perfect for holiday gift giving, including some that have been created by club members.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to fund Chippewa Garden Club’s many community projects, including education in gardening and horticulture; floral design; civic beautification; maintaining the Squire Rich Museum; hosting a library program for children on Mothers/Fathers Day weekend; working with seniors; providing gardening related projects at a local community center; participating in the Brecksville Home Days; actively supporting the Greene Acres Community Garden; participating in a Garden Club of Ohio or a National Garden Club project; offering youth scholarships each year to a Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School senior; and working to beautify Brecksville and Broadview Heights by planning and planting flowers, etc.

The event will be held at the Brecksville Community Center, 1 Community Dr.  Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. All cash donations are gratefully accepted, as CGC is a 501c3 non-profit corporation.
