July 30—A male driver on Rockside Road was charged with receiving stolen property after police determined the vehicle he drove was stolen via Flock Safety cameras.

July 31—During a traffic stop on Quarry Lane, police found drug paraphernalia and a firearm under a driver’s seat.

Aug. 5—Officers responded to a hotel on Quarry Lane after a man had stolen items from a storage closet at the hotel and left it in disarray. The man was confused and said a friend dropped him off at the hotel. The friend had a room registered in his name and in the room, police found over $1,000 in cash, narcotics, used needles, methamphetamine, and naloxone, which is used to treat overdoses in emergency situations. The man was charged via direct indictment pending testing of the substances for drug trafficking.

Aug. 9—Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Granger Road and found that the driver at fault had violated a protection order by being in the car with his girlfriend and two children, who were protected parties under the order.

Aug. 15—Officers were notified by the Flock Safety cameras of a stolen vehicle traveling on Pleasant Valley Road near I-77. The driver was arrested for receiving stolen property and a glass pipe consistent with narcotics was found on her person.

Aug. 20—A woman at a Quarry Lane hotel stated her wallet had been stolen and credit cards used. One credit card was charged for $365, while the other was charged for $200. Police found the perpetrator, who admitted to using the cards. She was cited and released for theft.

Aug. 22—Officers stopped a vehicle for illegible registration tags. The driver was cited for driving under suspension, and display of plates. Drug paraphernalia was also found in the vehicle’s backseat.

Aug.22—Police were notified of a stolen vehicle through Flock Safety cameras and found the car at a Quarry Lane hotel. The female driver was charged with receiving stolen property and had a warrant through the Cuyahoga County Sherriff’s Office for felonious assault with a firearm.
