Bus use requested

Richfield Police Chief Michael Swanson has requested that parents of students that attend Richfield Elementary School consider having their child ride the bus rather than driving them to and from school.

Swanson said there were daily traffic jams on Revere and Everett roads last year, creating a dangerous situation.

“The parking lot is not made for that many pick up and drop offs. It’s a mess. We’re asking the parents to use the buses more,” he said. ∞
