June 29—A female was arrested for prostitution at a Quarry Lane hotel.

June 29—A former employee at a Rockside Woods Boulevard North cafe was accused of stealing from the business. She admitted taking $320 and was issued a criminal summons for theft by a current employee.

July 3—During a traffic stop on Rockside Woods Boulevard South, police found two firearms in the trunk of a vehicle. The driver was cited for driving under suspension.

July 5—Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on West Creek Road. The 18-year-old driver was driving with a suspended driver’s license, in possession of marijuana and had a loaded firearm in the vehicle. The driver was charged with felony improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

July 8—After checking the license plate of a vehicle on Brecksville Road, the driver was found to have a warrant out of Cuyahoga County for a weapons offense. The driver had a firearm in the vehicle and was arrested for having weapons under disability and failing to inform officers of the gun when asked.

July 9—A female was arrested for prostitution and possessing criminal tools and a male was arrested for promoting prostitution at a Quarry Lane hotel.

July 14—Police were notified of a stolen vehicle on Quarry Lane that passed through Flock security cameras. The driver had a felony warrant for larceny out of Franklin County and another warrant out of Louisiana. The vehicle contained a handgun, over $6,000 in the center console, and multiple bank and identification cards of at least 10 individuals. The driver was charged with improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and identity fraud.

July 14—Police recovered a stolen vehicle from Independence that was found unoccupied at a tavern on East 49th Street in Cuyahoga Heights.

July 19—Officers cited a driver on Rockside Road for open container and drinking a beer while driving. The driver had been tailgating the car in front of him and using his phone.

July 22—A patron at a Rockside Woods Boulevard North entertainment venue was arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated after yelling at officers and venue staff.
