Thefts from unlocked motor vehicles occur in Bath Hills Subdivision

The Bath Township Police Department is warning residents about a series of thefts from unlocked motor vehicles in the Bath Hills Subdivision that took place May 12. Unknown suspect(s) entered vehicles parked in the areas of San Moritz, Beaverbrook, Pebble Beach and Olentangy Drives between the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., removing miscellaneous personal property from within.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicle doors when the vehicle is left unattended, activate security systems, when installed, and remove items such as purses, wallets and electronics from view.

Officers are routinely patrolling through parking lots and residential neighborhoods, but encourage residents to report suspicious people or activity by calling the Bath Township Police Department at 330-666-3736 for non-emergency matters, or by calling 9-1-1 for emergencies.

Anyone with information concerning the thefts from motor vehicles, or with surveillance video that would assist in the investigation, are asked to contact the police department as soon as possible. ∞
