April 3—During a traffic stop on Valley View and Wood Hollow roads, police found multiple people in the vehicle to have warrants for their arrest.

April 4—Police observed a vehicle running in the parking lot of a W. Aurora Road restaurant. The driver was later arrested for physical control of a motor vehicle.

April 8—Officers responded to a W. Aurora Road apartment domestic dispute between a divorced couple.

April 12—Police responded to an Eaton Ridge Drive residence for a welfare check. One of the residents was found to have a warrant in Parma and was released to the Parma Police Department.

April 16—A Natalie Boulevard resident stated his UPS package had been stolen from his doorstep.

April 17—Two male residents on W. Aurora Road had an argument over money that resulted in a physical fight in front of children. Both men were cited with disorderly conduct.

April 21—A Nakita Court resident reported that a delivery truck caused property damage to her mailbox.

April 22—Police responded to a report of fraud at Windsor Lane. The 94-year-old resident gave her social security number over the phone to a scammer.

Units responded to Canyon View Road for a welfare check on a resident that hadn’t been seen in days.

April 23—Police dispatched a sick raccoon in the backyard of a Deep Cove Drive residence.

A resident reported fraud after an unknown party opened up a checking account in his name with Chase Bank.

A resident reported fraud after the IRS notified him his identification may have been used to file other income tax returns.

April 26—Police accepted an identity theft report from a resident whose information was used to open a checking account with Wells Fargo.

April 29—A Nesbitt Road resident stated his neighbor was burning illegal items and was concerned that the 15- to 20-foot tall flames would result in ashes affecting his livestock. ∞
