The Cincinnati Enquirer has named Senior softball standout Chelsea Mack as one of the Top 22 Softball Players in the State of Ohio for 2022! This recent accolade is just the latest among many already earned by Mack during her standout career.  Mack was also one of the State’s top softball players last season, when she batted .570, with 61 hits and 46 runs scored.

BBHHS Senior, Abbey Brinkhoff recently displayed her talent and passion for performing arts in the lead role of the character, “Alison” in the All-Ohio Company production of Fun Home, during the weekend of March 26-27th at Westerville Central High School. Abbey earned the lead role after a challenging audition process that featured fellow Ohio high school students and members of the Ohio Thespians. A chapter of the Educational Theatre Association, Ohio Thespians is open to any Ohio student in grades nine through twelve attending a school with an active thespian troupe who completes a specific body of work in theatre arts.

Robotics Team 2011 shined at the Vex Robotics Ohio State Championship Tournament on March 11-12, 2022, by winning the Middle School and High School tournaments! Team 2011W and 2011Z were crowned Middle School level champions, with 2011W also being recognized with the Middle School Ohio Skills Award designation. Team 2011F claimed the High School level championship with their skilled play. The championship performances capped off a tournament which witnessed a school record of seven state qualified teams from Robotics Team 2011! The Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Art Department is proud to announce that Haley Eisentraut (Grade 12), Elianna Gamboa ( Grade 11), Erika Haire (Grade 12), and Tara Petrovic (Grade 12) had their work selected from the regional level to advance to the State online judging on March 12 as part of the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. The Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition has been in existence for over fifty years and is dedicated to promoting the educational and artistic advancement of students in the State of Ohio. 

Tara Petrovic was also recently awarded third place for her monoprints titled, “Yugoslavia Through All Eyes But Mine” at the Beachwood Arts Council’s 26th Annual Ileen Kelner Juried High School Art Show.

Layne Remington graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Miami University during the fall commencement ceremony in December, while  Erin Glasgow graduated with a MBA from Ohio University’s College of Business in Fall 2021.
