Sagamore Police Reports

Feb. 1—A female with dementia was reported missing from her Houghton Road home. Police conducted an extensive search to locate her and she was transported to Ahuja Hospital.

Feb. 5—An Aurora Road business reported someone illegally dumping a refrigerator in its dumpster.

Feb. 6—Police responded to a disturbance at a W. Aurora Road business.

Feb. 7—Police were dispatched to a Trailside Drive residence in reference to a theft of medication.

Feb. 8—A female Achill Court resident requested a police escort to her home to retrieve personal property. Once in the home, police found that the female’s husband had committed suicide.

Feb. 9—Officers responded to a Timbercreek Road residence for report of an attempted suicide.

Feb. 10—A Lucy Lane resident called police requesting a welfare check for her husband, who had threatened suicide.

Feb. 11—Police dispatched an injured coyote at a Carlin Drive residence.

Feb. 13—Officers responded to a call of an unruly juvenile at a Chaffee Road residence.

A female and her son reported skis stolen while at Brandywine Ski Area.

Feb. 14—Units responded to report of a possible suicide attempt at a Spring Creek Road residence.

An elderly female was reported unresponsive in her bed at a Stone Bridge residence. An Ahuja Medical Center doctor pronounced the woman dead.

Feb. 15—Police were called for domestic violence at a Romane Drive residence.

A resident stated his brother was found unresponsive at his Houghton Road residence. The brother was confirmed deceased by Macedonia Fire.

Feb. 17—A female resident reported that her ex-boyfriend communicated with her after she had filed a protection order.

Feb. 18—A Woodside Drive resident requested police at the home after his sister became upset with him.

Police responded to Hawthorne Drive for a vehicle lock out. The driver was found to have an active warrant through the Adult Parole Authority.

Feb. 20—Officers responded to a health care facility on W. Aurora Road for report of a combative resident.

A female resident at a Springmont Road residence was reported to have a change in mental status and was transported to MetroHealth Brecksville.

A female behind a W. Aurora Road church called complaining of a headache. She later alleged she had been kidnapped from New York.

Feb. 24—A resident reported she had been the victim of identity theft.

Feb. 25—Officers took an on-station report of an unauthorized charge to a resident’s bank account. ∞
