The city’s “Home for the Holidays” home decorating contest saw many entries, but only three winners were chosen.

While the city initially planned to award prizes based on the categories of best traditional display, whimsical display, and technical display, Communications Director Alla Lora said the city decided to forgo the categories and choose three winners with no ranking.

Participants’ outdoor decorations had to be visible from the street and up to three photos of the home could be entered for review.

The winners were the Streibel Family at 7515 Hillside Rd., Linda and Ryan Wancata at 6840 Hunting Ln., and Aubrie Thompson at 6246 Poplar Dr. Each of the three winners received $100. ∞
